The Leapmotor B10, a new electric SUV in the high-volume compact class, is set to arrive in Europe, promising a blend of compact footprint and premium comfort features at an affordable price.

The B10 will be available in two trim levels: "Life" and "Design". The base "Life" version is described as "very well equipped", coming standard with a 360° parking camera, a 1.8 m² panoramic glass roof with electric sun protection, and 18-inch light-alloy wheels.

The "Design" trim, priced below €30,000, adds luxury features such as ECO leather seats, configurable ambient lighting, and heated, ventilated, and electrically adjustable front seats.

The B10 is based on the new LEAP 3.5 platform and shares similar dimensions with the BYD Atto 3. It boasts a spacious interior, with one of the largest passenger spaces in its segment, and a rear seat backrest to footwell distance of 2.39 meters. However, specific trunk volume figures have not been disclosed.

The B10 comes equipped with an LFP battery with a 56.2 kWh energy capacity, priced at 29,900 euros. The "Design" trim with the larger battery variant will likely be announced at the start of ordering, expected in early September.

Until then, vehicles for Europe are likely to come from China and would be subject to special tariffs upon import into the EU. The prices of the large battery and the "design" equipment for the B10 in Europe will likely be announced at the same time.

The B10 uses a Snapdragon 8155 chip for a "smartphone-like experience". It delivers 132 kW and 175 Nm of torque in the base version, while more expensive versions offer 160 kW of power and 240 Nm of torque.

The B10 supports fast-charging at up to 168 kW, resulting in a charging time of 20 minutes from 30 to 80 percent. Both battery variants support AC charging at 11 kW.

It's not specified where the B10 for Europe will be built, but production is set to start in the Spanish plant in Saragossa at the beginning of 2026. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be available via an OTA update from December 2025 for the B10 in Europe.

The B10's tariffs alone do not explain the price difference with China for the B10 in Europe. The exact factory location for European market units is not specified, but Leapmotor’s collaboration with the Stellantis group ensures its availability and servicing in Europe.

In summary, the B10 "Design" trim offers a compact footprint with premium comfort features for under €30,000, and will be delivered to Europe via Stellantis’s network and manufacturing infrastructure. The precise trunk volume and towing capacity details were not disclosed in the sources found.
