Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies (BISS) has launched a platform to attract innovative and analytical youth, focusing on essential issues in the country, such as food security and medical staff shortages.

A notable example is Artem Savitski, a junior research fellow at BSMU's Biological Faculty, who has developed an innovative platform for early crop disease diagnosis. The technology aims to minimize crop loss by identifying diseases promptly, covering major crops essential for food security in the country.
The platform works by allowing users to send photos of their crops through a Telegram channel, which gets analyzed by the AI to identify the disease and suggest treatment recommendations. Another project tackled the issue of attracting young people to the medical profession. Vasily Kulagin, a second-year student at VGU, formulated a four-step strategy to strengthen the physician image and promote this field to potential students.
He involved faculty staff from his alma mater and representatives from healthcare institutions to develop the strategy. The plan includes practical training in healthcare institutions and an extensive promotional campaign for aspiring students, aiming to spark motivation among future doctors.
