Apple TV+ Launches This Fall With Free Trial for New Device Buyers
Apple has announced its new streaming service, Apple TV+, will launch this fall. The service, which includes Apple Originals content, will cost 9.99 euros per month after a 7-day free trial. Buyers of new Apple devices will receive a free 3-month subscription, redeemable within 90 days.
The Apple TV app, which will house the new service, will roll out in over 100 countries this May on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Mac users will gain access this fall. Additionally, the app will be available on Samsung smart TVs starting this spring, with more platforms like Amazon Fire TV, LG, Roku, Sony, and VIZIO to follow.
Apple TV+ subscriptions and access to Apple TV channels can be shared among family members through Family Sharing. AirPlay 2 support, allowing direct playback from iPhone or iPad to compatible smart TVs, will be available later this year.
