Apple unveils revamped iMovie version, offering Storyboards and Magic Movie features

Apple has announced the latest version of iMovie, a significant update that simplifies video creation on iPhone and iPad. With the introduction of Storyboards and Magic Movie, iMovie 3.0 empowers beginners and experienced users alike to tell captivating stories through video.

The new Storyboards feature offers a shot list that organizes clips to tell a specific narrative, complete with illustrative thumbnails and tips for shooting each clip. This feature provides pre-made templates for popular video types, such as DIYs, cooking tutorials, product reviews, science experiments, and more, making it easier for users to create engaging videos.

In addition to Storyboards, iMovie 3.0 introduces Magic Movie, a feature that instantly creates a polished video from the clips and photos a user selects. Magic Movie automatically identifies the best parts of the selected footage and creates the project, adding transitions, effects, and music to the edit. Users can then customize their videos with a range of styles that include titles, filters, transitions, colour palettes, and music.

Both new features include a variety of styles to help personalize the final look and feel of a video. Users can rearrange or delete clips in the Magic Movie shot list or edit the project further to create a unique video that reflects their personal style.

Apple's vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, Bob Borchers, stated that iMovie empowers millions of people to create and share their stories through video. He believes that the latest version of iMovie, featuring Storyboards and Magic Movie, will continue to inspire new video creators.

Completed Magic Movie videos can be shared from iMovie through Messages, Mail, and on social media. Images related to the article can be downloaded for reference. Media inquiries about the new iMovie features can be directed to the press contacts available at media.help@our website.

The update is compatible with devices running iOS 15.2 or later and iPadOS 15.2 or later. Apple introduced the new version of iMovie with the features Storyboards and Magic Movie on April 12, 2022. iMovie 3.0 is available as a free update on the App Store.
