Application Time for Opus and Sinus Now Open
The Prolight + Sound and Musikmesse events are gearing up for another exciting year, and with it comes the annual Sinus and Opus Awards. Visionary companies and individuals in the industry are invited to submit suggestions for projects, people, project teams, or companies for these prestigious awards.
The Opus Award, first presented in 2002, honours exceptional work in the areas of light design, technical realization, stage and production design, and stage production. Last year, the Opus 2017 was awarded to two different projects: "Get Loud Open Air Tour 2016" by Rea Garvey in the category of stage and lighting design and the staging of Schiller's "The Robbers". Christian "Rocket Chris" Glatthor was one of the recipients of the Opus 2017 award for his work on "Get Loud Open Air Tour 2016".
The Sinus Award, given since 2004, is considered one of the more prestigious awards in the AV media technology industry. It recognizes innovative and groundbreaking use of audiovisual media technology and system integration solutions. The Sinus Award 2017 was awarded to the media installation at the Hilti AG headquarters in Liechtenstein.
Applications and suggestions for both the Sinus 2018 and Opus 2018 Awards can be submitted until November 12. Application forms and more information are available at www.prolight-sound.com/sinus and www.prolight-sound.com/opus.

The Sinus Award 2018 will honour the most innovative projects in the field of audiovisual communication in the areas of information, entertainment, business, or venue. The Opus Award, on the other hand, continues to celebrate artistic and technical excellence in the realm of event technology.
