Blue Lucy's BLAM Platform: Empowering Media Companies with Flexible AI Solutions

Blue Lucy, a leading provider of media workflow solutions, has unveiled its BLAM (Business Logic and Media) orchestration platform. This innovative platform offers media companies the ability to seamlessly integrate and select multiple Large Language Models (LLMs) into their workflows, providing a modular, mix-and-match architecture that empowers users to choose the best LLM for each specific task.

The BLAM platform departs from traditional one-size-fits-all AI solutions, giving users full control over model selection, performance optimization, cost management, and data privacy. The system supports multi-LLM integration within a unified workflow, allowing media producers, distributors, and content creators to flexibly apply AI according to the task at hand.

One of the key features of BLAM is full control and visibility. Operators can select the right AI model for each job, ensuring tasks are matched with the best-performing and most cost-effective LLM while maintaining data sovereignty. The platform also boasts extensive integration capabilities, with nearly 500 existing connectors and a microservice architecture that allows quick addition of new integrations, connecting disparate media supply chain systems such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Amazon S3.

Blue Lucy's native AI assistant, "Lucia", works alongside external LLMs to streamline complex, multi-step media workflows. Lucia automates batch tasks and simplifies user instructions into operational commands, making it easier for operators to manage their workflows.

The BLAM platform is designed to scale AI adoption at a pace dictated by the user, avoiding vendor lock-in and enabling tailored AI deployment according to evolving operational needs.

In addition to the BLAM platform, Blue Lucy is launching Insights, a new analytics package at IBC. Insights surfaces operational data across the content supply chain to support management decision making. This new feature turns operational data into a strategic asset, supporting continuous improvement across content operations. Insights gives operators full control and visibility, enabling them to choose the right model for the right job, maintain data sovereignty, and scale AI adoption at their own pace.

Blue Lucy has developed a significant and broad range of new BLAM microservices for a variety of common LLMs. At IBC, Blue Lucy will showcase Lucia, their native AI assistant, working with external models to streamline complex workflows. The stand for Insights and BLAM at IBC is 6.C29.

In essence, Blue Lucy’s BLAM platform orchestrates multiple LLMs by embedding AI selection and application directly into media workflows and management, thus empowering media companies to harness AI flexibly, effectively, and securely within their existing ecosystems.

Technology and data-and-cloud-computing play crucial roles in Blue Lucy's BLAM Platform, enabling media companies to seamlessly integrate multiple Large Language Models (LLMs) into their workflows. The platform offers users control over model selection, performance optimization, cost management, and data privacy, demonstrating its commitment to safe, flexible, and effective AI solutions.
