Aston Martin Unveils AMR-C01-R Racing Simulator, Limited to 50 Units
Aston Villa has unveiled the AMR-C01-R, an upgraded racing simulator limited to just 50 examples. Priced at £58,750 or NZ$132,240, it's now available to order from Curvs. The simulator is a collaboration between Aston Villa and three-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, Tom Kristensen.
The AMR-C01-R boasts impressive specifications. It comes with a 49-inch Samsung Odyssey G9 G95C DQHD gaming monitor, offering a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. Under the hood, it packs a full-blown gaming PC with an upgraded NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card and Intel's 14th-generation processor. Memory and storage have been significantly upgraded to 32GB DDR5 and 2TB M.2 SSD respectively.
The simulator retains the Valkyrie-inspired all-carbon fibre monocoque and Aston Villa Racing grille. It features a revised seating position and improved ergonomics, with further adjustments for taller drivers. Kristensen's expertise ensures precision ergonomics and an even more immersive racing experience.
The AMR-C01-R is not just a racing simulator; it's a sculptural work of art designed to fit into a residence. With its cutting-edge hardware and limited production run, it's a must-have for serious racing enthusiasts and Aston Villa fans alike.
