BNM Unveils Expanded Board and New Management in Wake of BEM's Insolvency
The Federal Association for New Mobility (BNM), previously known as the Federal Association for Consulting New Mobility (BBNM), has seen significant changes, including an expanded board and a name change. The organization aims to fill the void left by the insolvency of the Federal Association for Electromobility (BEM).
The board has been expanded to include Manuela Hotop, Uwe Hahner, Johannes Haas, and Detlev Knoll. Meanwhile, Thomas Mertens, Mazlum Yaylaci, and Rached Kaiser remain in the extended board, while Timo Kauffmann, Thomas J.M. Bella, and Christian Thelen leave but continue as members. The association's new management board consists of Lisa Bohm and Anja Quast, CEO of Lade-plus, with Andreas Varesi stepping down.
Founded in 2023, the BNM is a network of certified consultants for electromobility and alternative drives. The name change from BBNM to BNM reflects a broader focus beyond electromobility. The association's website remains 'neue-mobilitaet-berlin.de'. Despite the removal of 'consulting' from the name, the association maintains its focus on high-quality expertise in mobility projects.
The BNM, with its expanded board and new management, is committed to 'bundling even more expertise and motivation' for the mobility news in Germany. The organization continues to provide high-quality expertise despite the name change.
