Borken County Launches 'Senior Cycling' Safety Initiative

Borken County, renowned for its high pedelec ownership, is introducing 'Senior Cycling', an initiative focusing on safety and prevention for older cyclists. The main event is scheduled for 09.10.2025 in Bocholt, with another planned for 30.10.2025 in Ahaus. This event, organized by the county and police, aims to provide practical assistance and discuss critical traffic situations. Expert tips will cover behavior at intersections and roundabouts, bike lane use, and essential safety equipment. The route guidance will be based on current accident hotspots in the county area.
