Hugo Baungartner has been appointed as the Executive Director of Institutional Relations and Strategic Partnerships (Chief Business Officer - CBO) at Esportes Gaming Brasil. In this role, he is responsible for managing the company's institutional relationships and developing strategic partnerships to support its growth and alignment with regulatory and industry standards.

Baungartner brings over 28 years of experience in the technology and gaming sectors to his new position. Prior to his appointment at Esportes Gaming Brasil, he held leadership roles at companies such as Grupo Aposta Ganha, RCT Gaming, and Prohards.

Esportes Gaming Brasil aims to continue its expansion in Brazil, and Baungartner's appointment is intended to help the company navigate and engage with various institutions. Baungartner will be responsible for liaising with significant entities that hold influence over the regulatory landscape in Brazil, including the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA/MF), the Federal Revenue Service, the Central Bank, COAF, certification bodies, and accredited laboratories.

Baungartner's role in the company is part of its leadership team, and his responsibilities now include developing partnerships with global providers, evaluating merger and acquisition opportunities (M&A), and structuring new projects with full legal and regulatory compliance. He will also be preparing the company for developments in the regulatory landscape.
