Charging platform for electric vehicles secures €7.5 million in seed funding for data transmission purposes
The tech startup, Enapi, has announced a significant milestone in its mission to streamline payments and data transfer for every electric vehicle (EV) charging business. With a €7.5m (£6.24m) seeding round led by VC firm Voyager Ventures, the company aims to make EV charging transactions seamless, efficient, and accessible.
Enapi's data-powered platform, designed for charge point operators (CPOs) in the EV charging infrastructure, allows CPOs to communicate and exchange transaction data, enabling them to retain full control and flexibility. In the past six months, 50,000 charge points have been onboarded in Europe through Enapi's platform.
The latest investment follows a €2.5m (£2.08m) pre-seed round in early 2024, bringing the total funding for Enapi to €10m (£8.3m). Project A, Seedcamp, and Helloworld VC also participated in the seeding round.
Meanwhile, the city of Bradford is planning an expansion of its EV charging infrastructure. However, the connection between Enapi and Bradford's electric vehicle charging infrastructure expansion plans remains unclear. The source of this information about Bradford's plans is not explicitly stated, and further details about the expansion are not provided.
The company benefiting from the expansion of EV charging station infrastructure in Bradford is Instavolt. It is not clear if Enapi's platform is related to Bradford's electric vehicle charging infrastructure expansion plans.
The fourth annual CiTTi Awards will recognise achievements and innovations in EV charging infrastructure on 25 November 2025 at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London. The CiTTi Awards is an unmissable event for the UK's transportation sector. More information about the CiTTi Awards can be found at www.cittiawards.co.uk.
As the EV revolution continues to gather pace, Enapi's innovative platform is poised to play a crucial role in shaping the future of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The platform's focus on efficiency, data quality, and zero transaction costs makes it an attractive solution for charge point operators looking to streamline their operations and improve the user experience for EV drivers.
