Congolese transportation company, Noki Noki, secures $3 million in early-stage funding.
Noki Noki, a logistics company based in Congo, has successfully raised USD 3 million in a seed funding round, led by Uma Ventures, a venture capital firm with a history of supporting Early Stage Venture, Late Stage Venture, and Seed Ventures throughout Africa.
Founded in 2021 by Jonathan Yanghat, Noki Noki offers various logistic services aimed at simplifying daily life for its users. These services include Noki Food, a meal delivery service, Noki Drive, a supermarket shopping service, and Noki Pay, an integrated payment interface for its delivery services.
With the newly raised funds, Noki Noki is planning to expand its operations beyond its current six markets. The company is particularly focusing on the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as a key region for growth. The expansion is expected to strengthen Noki Noki's footprint in new regions, providing more users with access to convenient and efficient logistic services.
Uma Ventures, based in Africa, played a significant role in the investment round. The firm's support will not only help Noki Noki enter new regions but also strengthen its presence in existing markets.
Noki Noki's services aim to revolutionise the way people shop for groceries and meals, making them more accessible and convenient. With Noki Drive, users can order their groceries online and have them delivered to their doorstep. Noki Food offers a similar service for meals, delivering a wide variety of options to customers.
The integrated payment interface, Noki Pay, simplifies the payment process for these services, allowing users to manage their orders and payments seamlessly.
The successful seed funding round is a testament to Noki Noki's potential for growth and its commitment to providing innovative logistic solutions. As the company continues to expand, it is expected to make a significant impact on the logistics industry in Africa and beyond.
