Continued Assays Demonstrate Adina as a Strong, Premium Lithium Venture
Winsome Resources Announces High-Grade Lithium Assay Results from Adina Project
Winsome Resources (ASX:WR1) has announced high-grade lithium assay results from its 100%-owned Adina project in Quebec, Canada. The latest results consolidate Adina’s status as a substantial high-grade lithium resource with an increasing resource base.
Over 8,600 meters have been drilled in 38 holes at the Adina Main Zone, with assays now received from 21 drillholes. The drilling has defined a substantial continuous pegmatite body over a strike length of approximately 700m and to depths of 200 meters from surface.
The latest intersections confirm the impressive tenor and thickness of the lithium mineralisation through the Main Zone at Adina. Exceptionally high-grade zones continue to be intersected within the pegmatite body, such as 2.40% Li2O over 9.0m, 2.00% Li2O over 15.1m, 1.92% Li2O over 18.0m, 2.15% Li2O over 14.6m, 1.78% Li2O over 23.0m, and 2.82% Li2O over 6.0m.
Recent drilling completed includes a fence of drillholes which successfully intersected spodumene bearing pegmatite along strike from holes AD-22-042 and AD-22-046. Assays are awaited from some 16 drillholes.
Chris Evans, Managing Director of Winsome Resources, stated that the results from drilling demonstrate that Adina is a robust lithium project well placed for development to supply future North American demand. Drilling is currently testing the pegmatite body down dip of the intersections reported and previously.
A third drilling rig is being mobilised to site to fast-track drilling of these targets as well as those delineated by ground gravity surveying. The drilling is planned to be done in step outs to the east of holes AD-23-071 - 073. Both geochemistry and mineralogy will be used to better map the individual phases and aid future drill targeting.
Further potential strike extension of the pegmatite body to a total of 1,600m has been interpreted based on recent drilling results and geophysical surveys. The Adina project is recognised as one of the largest lithium deposits in Quebec, improving its position markedly within the region’s hard rock lithium exploration landscape.
The resource estimate’s grade of around 1.15% Li2O is considered high-grade for spodumene-hosted lithium deposits. However, there are no newer assay result details publicly reported beyond this updated resource figure in the July 2025 corporate presentation and related materials. The latest high-grade lithium assay results specifically for Winsome Resources' Adina project in Quebec indicate an inferred mineral resource of 78 million tonnes at 1.15% Li2O, which is a 33% increase from the previously reported 58.5 million tonnes at 1.12% Li2O as of the effective date December 11, 2023. This reflects a substantial upgrade in both tonnage and grade for the Adina Lithium Project.
