Crucial's T710 Heatsink SSD Arrives With LED Lighting
Crucial has introduced the T710 Heatsink, an international variant of its SSD flagship, now featuring integrated LED lights. Initial stock has reached German retailers, with a slight premium for this version.
The T710 Heatsink boasts impressive performance. It delivers sequential read/write speeds of up to 14,900/13,800 MB/s and random read/write speeds of up to 2.2M/2.3M. This is made possible by its efficient SM2508 controller, which reduces the need for an additional cooler.
The heatsink variant is slightly larger than the previous T710, measuring 80 × 23 × 11.1 mm and weighing 33 grams. Despite its size, it may fit into the PlayStation 5, which supports SSDs up to 11.25 mm in height.
Crucial's T710 Heatsink offers enhanced performance and cooling, with LED lights for added aesthetics. Although currently priced at a premium, wider availability may bring down costs. It's an attractive option for gamers and professionals seeking high-speed, reliable storage.
