Slicing Through the Tech Trends at Computex 2025: A Glimpse at Zalman's Stylish Offerings

Stepping into the future of computing, Zalman arrived at Computex 2025 with a sizzling lineup of computer cases that blend modern aesthetics with practical functionality. Among the standouts were two striking additions to the Namu series, the premium P40 Namu and the mid-range P10 Namu.

Let's dive into the details of these two eye-catching cases:

P40 Namu: The Flagship Fish-Tank Chassis

The P40 Namu, Zalman's premium offering, presents a unique combination of cutting-edge tech and traditional materials. Its defining feature – a wooden accent wrapping gracefully around the lower case – is only highlighted by its seamless, two-piece tempered glass panels on the sides and front, boasting no visible borders. The P40 Namu is available in both black and white colorways.

This fish-tank style chassis accepts ATX motherboards, and supports 10 case fans for optimal airflow, with designations for three on the side, three on the top, and three on the bottom. Notably, the side mounts can fit up to 240 mm or 120 mm fans, and the top can house up to 120 mm or 240 mm fans. Support for radiators extends to sizes of 360 mm on the top and side, with 280 mm top support for 140 mm fan-compatible AIO liquid coolers/radiators. The bottom and rear fan mounts are limited to 120 mm fans.

Additional features include four RGB illuminated fans, an ARGB controller, rotatable PCIe slots for horizontal or vertical GPU operation, magnetic dust filters on the top and bottom, and dedicated GPU brackets. Storage bays are located on the bottom and rear, to support either two 3.5-inch HDDs or three 2.5-inch SSDs or HDDs. With its premium build quality, debuting a built-in LCD screen variant is a fitting evolution for the P40 Namu.

P10 Namu: Compact and Cooling Savvy

The P10 Namu, designed for the mid-range market, boasts a styled woodgrain finish on the front, reminiscent of the Fractal Design North series. Although it has a more compact non-panoramic design, the P10 Namu can still fit nine 120mm case fans, provided they are all 120 mm in size. The case is compatible with both micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards.

Remarkably, this scaled-down case offers extensive cooling capabilities, supported by three fans on the top and bottom, two in the front, and one in the rear. The top fan mounts are the only mounts compatible with either 120 mm or 140 mm fans, but if you opt for 140 mm fans, you'll need to go down to two fans. Radiator support extends to a single 240 mm or 120 mm radiator on top or a single 120 mm radiator in the rear, with no front radiator support.

Unlike its counterpart, the P10 Namu further distinguishes itself through its unique ventilation system, featuring additional ventilation beneath the tempered glass side panel and a massive ventilation area on the rear side panel. These areas traditionally receive little ventilation, but the P10 Namu ensures hubs and storage drives in the lower chamber or rear area stay cool.

Zalman displayed a plethora of additional cases beyond the P40 and P10 Namu at Computex 2025, such as the high-end P60 variant and a P40 variant with a built-in LCD screen – demonstrating their ongoing commitment to marrying elegance and function in their products.
