Dongfeng Unveils Max+ PHEV Off-Road SUV with 1,365km Range
Dongfeng Motor Corporation has launched the Max+ variant of its rugged M-Hero M817 off-road SUV. This hard-core plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) offers an impressive range and advanced features.
The M817 Max+ boasts a larger 50.4 kWh Freevoy battery, courtesy of CATL, providing a 215-kilometer electric range. This, combined with a full fuel tank, results in a remarkable 1,365-kilometer total range. The standard Pro and Max versions come with a 31.7 kWh battery, offering 140 kilometers of electric range and a combined range of 1,300 kilometers.
The M817 Max+ measures 5,100 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,899/1,919 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,005 mm. It starts at RMB 369,900 ($51,950). Key features include Huawei's ADS 4 advanced driving assistance system and the HarmonySpace 5 cockpit.
