Dubai Commences Second Round of AI Accelerator Program to Revolutionize Public Services; Application Deadline Extended to August 28th.
Dubai has opened applications for the second edition of its "Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator," inviting AI experts and companies from around the globe to develop transformative solutions in partnership with more than 20 government entities. The program, which operates under an equity-free model, aims to position Dubai as a world leader in delivering agile, AI-powered public services.
Applications for the program will remain open until 28 August 2025. The inaugural cycle received applications from 615 companies in 55 countries, demonstrating a global interest in the initiative. Selected companies will then be invited to Dubai for an eight-week fully sponsored residency from 6 October to 28 November 2025.
The residency offers mentorship from leading AI specialists, direct engagement with senior decision-makers, and the opportunity to pilot solutions in real-world government environments. The program prioritizes solutions in four categories: personalization of public services, creation of new AI-driven offerings, improvement of internal government processes, and ensuring inclusivity for all segments of society.
Participants will collaborate directly with government experts on real-world challenges, gain direct access to senior decision-makers, and retain full ownership of their intellectual property. The program also provides fully sponsored travel and accommodation during the residency, and explores growth opportunities both locally and internationally within Dubai's AI ecosystem.
By fostering collaboration between the public sector and AI innovators, Dubai aims to set a benchmark for efficiency, inclusivity, and citizen-centric design in AI integration into government services worldwide. The goal is to accelerate the deployment of impactful technologies and align with the emirate's D33 Agenda, aiming to position Dubai as a leading global hub for advanced technology and innovation.
The "Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator" is part of a broader ecosystem of AI programs in Dubai, including the Dubai AI Academy, AI Week, and the AI Seal certification system. It is also part of Dubai's Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence.
In the first edition of the program, it generated 183 AI use cases, with 75 already being piloted. The goal is to create seamless, intelligent experiences that save time and effort while enhancing quality of life, contributing to Dubai's vision to become the world's largest hub for AI-driven innovation. Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, stated that the program aims to position Dubai as a world leader in delivering agile, AI-powered public services.
