During the open beta of Battlefield 6, Artificial Intelligence soldiers will be limited to training grounds playlists, contradicting previous speculations about them being used to fill servers.

In the gaming world, Battlefield 6 has been generating quite a buzz, with the controversial recoil system taking centre stage in discussions among players. This controversy revolves around the game's realism, as some players claim that a "zero recoil" gun is unrealistic.

Recently, the Taiwanese outlet GNN reported on a multiplayer showcase event in Hong Kong where details about Battlefield 6 were revealed. One of these details is that DICE is considering fan and player requests to choose classic builds or maps from previous Battlefield games.

As for the multiplayer aspect, Battlefield 6 will include AI enemies to servers to fill out lobbies during the game. However, it's important to note that bots will only be used to fill empty slots when there are not enough human players to reach full server capacity. Human players will always be prioritized over AI bots, meaning that when a real player joins a match, they will replace a bot in that server to maintain a full player count.

During the open beta, bots appear only in the Training Grounds playlists, specifically "Breakthrough Initiation", which are tutorial-like, low-level playlists aimed at new players. Once players pass rank 15, this mode disappears, and other playlists are bot-free during the beta.

After launch, the system will extend to regular multiplayer matches. The AI bots act as a backfill to prevent empty or underpopulated lobbies, ensuring players experience full matches at all times, especially in large 64-player battles. However, bots are not a replacement for humans.

The 'Training Grounds' playlist is designed to introduce players to the core elements of Breakthrough and offer a smoother experience than a full lobby. Players can get a bot-free experience by jumping into Breakthrough from the featured playlist option.

In a nod to classic games like Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 and 4, Battlefield 6 is paying dues to its roots. The devs have left open the possibility that bots might still be a factor within regular playlists once the full game launches.

In a lighter note, some players who are critical of Battlefield 6's recoil system have been referred to as "pew pew nerds". The controversy surrounding Battlefield 6's recoil system has been labeled as its first big hullabaloo.

As we await the official release of Battlefield 6, these developments promise an exciting and dynamic multiplayer experience for fans of the series.
