The 2025 list of speakers features many names behind companies that have been covered on various platforms. The forum will also include three strategy-focused workshops on the responsible use of AI in finance. These workshops aim to facilitate networking and collaboration between financial institutions, technology providers, startups, and other key players.
Experts will share real-world case studies and strategic approaches to inform the financial community. The workshops will take place during the day, with the forum running from dawn to dusk on Monday through Tuesday.
In addition to the annual Canada Fintech Forum, Finance Montreal operates the Montreal Fintech Station, a physical space located at 4 Place Ville-Marie in the heart of the city. The Montreal Fintech Station was launched with a mission to help local startups grow via specialized services and technological support designed for entrepreneurs.
The Canada Fintech Forum 2023 featured notable speakers such as Harley Finkelstein of Shopify, Hanna Zaidi of Wealthsimple, and Dax Dasilva of Lightspeed. With the 2025 edition promising a similar calibre of speakers and workshops, the forum is shaping up to be a "landmark international gathering" not to be missed.
