Fireblocks Facilitates $10 Trillion, Integrates with XION for Mass Onboarding
Fireblocks, a leading digital-asset custodian, has reached a significant milestone by facilitating over $10 trillion in transactions. Now, it has integrated with XION, a consumer-focused layer-1 blockchain, to enable mass onboarding for approximately 2,400 financial institutions.
XION, which introduced its native utility token in August 2024 and became the first MiCA-compliant blockchain in March 2025, joins other prominent networks like Solana, Sui, and Avalanche in integrating with Fireblocks. This integration allows institutions to assess counterparty risk, settlement speed, and custody controls directly on the XION network.
Fireblocks has added native support for XION, enabling walletless transactions. This move is expected to facilitate the adoption of the XION platform by the integrated institutions, providing a seamless and secure experience.
With this integration, XION gains access to over 2,400 financial institutions, potentially boosting its adoption and usage. Fireblocks, on the other hand, continues to expand its support for various blockchain networks, solidifying its position as a key player in the digital-asset custodian space.
