'Fortnite' Winterfest 2024 Guide Unveiled: Discover Which Gifts Enclose Each Complimentary Reward
It's that time of year once more. Fortnite is leading the holiday charge once again with its annual Winterfest event, and one notable absence from last year's festivities has made a comeback. Players can now discover a pile of Christmas gifts tucked away in the Winterfest Lodge, a nicely decorated cabin ready for the holiday season.
Each present contains a variety of cosmetic rewards, completely free for all players, ranging from Contrails to Pickaxes, even a couple of festive Skins like the famous Snoop Dogg skin. Players can open one gift daily during the Winterfest 2024 event by tearing off its wrapping paper.
There's a whole lot to discover. Let's have a gander at what lies within each present, though I suppose if you'd rather maintain the element of surprise, it's best to avoid reading further. Each present is "from" a different Fortnite NPC, like Sgt. Winter and Guffmas Tree. How thoughtful of them to think of us during this festive season.
Fortnite Winterfest Presents
We'll start with the stack of presents on the right side of the couch, where Snoop Dogg is engrossed in Fortnite.
- The tall pinkish purple present: Peppermint Paraglider Glider
- The tall present with the blue bow: Yule Bag Back Bling
- The tall red present: Snow Sparkle Contrail
- The square purple present: That’s Cold Jac! Back Bling
- The long blue present: Dogg Treat Pickaxe

On the left side of Snoop Dogg, you'll find another stack of Christmas presents.
- Tall yellow present on the left: Snoop’s Holladizzle Bass (Bass Guitar)
- Tall green present: Yulejacket (Skin)
- Short rectangular yellow present on the left: Humbug Slicer (Pickaxe)
- Short light purple present on the left: Tree Keys, Choose Naughty and Crashed Chill (Sprays)
- Purple present in the middle: Winterfest Guitar (Guitar)
- Blue present in the front: Llama Lightbulb (Emoticon)
- Red present on the right: Yulejacket’s Blaster (Wrap)
- Flat red present in the front: Run It Up (Jam Track)
The final present, a yellow box situated in the center, contains the Snoop Dogg skin. However, you won't be able to find this present until later in the event. You also can't open the Yulejacket skin yet—when you try, you'll be told, "Save it for last!"
You can also control the neon Llama sign in the Lodge by turning it on and off, and passively earn XP by the warm fire.
The Mariah Carey skin, Santa Shaq skin, and a multitude of other holiday cosmetics can be found in the Fortnite Item Shop. You'll have until January 7th to unwrap all these gifts and participate in the festivities in the widely popular Battle Royale game.
Call of Duty is currently hosting its own Christmas event, offering a series of free rewards by collecting Archies during matches. Many players were inadvertently given a large number of these at the event's inception (I had close to 35,000), making it incredibly simple to unlock everything right away, including a new sniper rifle. Perhaps that's Activision's way of making amends for the rampant cheating that has plagued Warzone lately.
