Georgian Mobile Market Hits 5.87M Subscribers in 2025
The Georgian mobile market has seen significant growth in 2025. The number of active subscribers has reached nearly 5.87 million, with mobile internet penetration expanding to 4.34 million users. This represents a 191,000 increase from 2024 and a 73.9% penetration rate.
Magti, the market leader, maintains a 40.7% share with 2.39 million subscribers. It reported the highest average revenue per user (ARPU) at GEL 16.25, up 0.86 GEL year-on-year. Silknet follows with 35.8% of the market and 2.09 million users, generating GEL 183.5 million in revenue. Celfie Mobile, the youngest player, accounts for 23.2% of the market with 1.36 million subscribers and GEL 91.3 million in revenue.
The total revenue for the first seven months of 2025 reached GEL 521 million, a 6% increase of GEL 31 million compared to the same period last year. Average monthly data usage per subscriber has also increased to 17.2 GB, up by 2.3 GB from last year.
The Georgian mobile market continues to grow, with increased subscribers and revenue. Magti, Silknet, and Celfie Mobile remain the key players, each with distinct market shares and ARPU. As competition intensifies, consumers benefit from improved services and increased data usage.
