Guitar Legend Nuno Bettencourt Launches Nuno Guitars
Guitar legend Nuno Bettencourt has struck out on his own, launching Nuno Guitars. The brand marks the end of his long partnership with Washburn and gives Bettencourt complete creative control.
Bettencourt, thrilled about the new venture, looks forward to engaging directly with players and fans about Nuno Guitars. The launch debuts with two flagship models, the Dark Horse and White Stallion. The Dark Horse, famously played by Bettencourt at Ozzy Osbourne's last-ever show, is now offered under the Nuno Guitars brand, having previously been sold as the Washburn N4. The White Stallion is a flipped, contrasted version of the Dark Horse. Despite the change, Bettencourt continues to collaborate with Washburn on other projects. The N4, Bettencourt's signature design, will now be produced under the 'Nuno' guitar banner, likely retaining its original design and features.
Nuno Guitars, with its debut models Dark Horse and White Stallion, signals a new era for Bettencourt. His signature N4 design continues under the new brand, offering fans and players alike a chance to own a piece of his musical legacy.
