The XIII Season of the International Engineering Championship MYCASE Kicks Off in Kamchatka Krai

The XIII season of the International Engineering Championship MYCASE has commenced in Kamchatka Krai, providing a platform for young minds to showcase their skills and embark on a journey of career and professional growth.

Organised by Artem Korolev, founder and co-chairman of the MYCASE championship organizing committee, this season's theme is 'Technological Innovations'. The championship aims to foster a new generation of engineers, ready to tackle the challenges of the fuel and energy complex and related industries.

The MYCASE championship has proven to be an effective tool for forming a personnel reserve for companies in these sectors. Winners and prize-winners of the Student League will have the opportunity to enter graduate and postgraduate programs at partner universities on favourable terms. Additionally, the strongest teams from the qualifying competition will represent their region in the semi-finals.

The tasks in the MYCASE championship are based on real practical engineering cases of Russian companies - leaders in the industry. This ensures that participants gain hands-on experience, preparing them for the real world.

Participants in the MYCASE championship may also receive additional EGE points, paid internships, and career prospects. Over the past three years, the demand for engineers has increased by 2.5 times, making this competition even more valuable for those seeking a career in the field.

The championship covers three age categories - schoolchildren, students, and young specialists. Among students, 30% have received invitations for practice, while over 90% of school-age participants have been admitted to specialized universities, with one-third of them using additional EGE points provided by the championship.

Gennady Guryanov, Deputy General Director of the ANO "Russia - Country of Opportunities", highlighted these facts about the MYCASE championship. He emphasised that young specialists will have opportunities for career and professional growth, as well as inclusion in the managerial personnel reserve of companies.

Authors of the best ideas will receive a ticket to the final stage of the championship. Furthermore, they will receive invitations to industry youth educational forums, providing them with a chance to network and learn from industry leaders.

The final of the MYCASE championship will take place in Moscow in May 2025. It promises to be an exciting event, showcasing the talents of the next generation of engineers.

As we embark on this journey, let's remember that the MYCASE championship is more than just a competition - it's a stepping stone towards a brighter future for young engineers.
