Stelato Unveils S9T Wagon with Huawei's Advanced Driving System

Stelato, the joint venture between Huawei and BAIC Group, has launched its latest offering - the S9T station wagon. The S9T, which is the variant of the Stelato S9, made its debut on August 18 and quickly garnered attention with over 20,000 reservations within 24 hours.

The S9T is equipped with Huawei's ADS 4 smart driving system, making it one of the first vehicles to feature this advanced technology. The system includes a 192-channel LiDAR, three high-precision solid-state LiDARs, and five 4D millimeter-wave radars, ensuring safety and efficiency on the road.

The S9T comes in four variants: two EREV versions and two BEV versions. The EREV models, powered by Huawei's extended-range system, offer a combined CLTC range of either 1,225 km or 1,305 km when fully tanked and fully charged. The BEV variants, available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, boast a CLTC range of 801 km or 701 km, thanks to a 100-kWh Huawei Giant Whale battery pack.

The rear-wheel drive S9T BEV is equipped with a motor that delivers a maximum power output of 227 kW (304 horsepower). The all-wheel drive S9T BEV adds a front motor with a maximum power output of 158 kW. The S9T BEV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.92 seconds (rear-wheel drive) and an impressive 3.95 seconds (all-wheel drive).

The S9T has dimensions of 5,160 mm in length, 2,005 mm in width, and 1,492 mm in height, with a 3,050 mm wheelbase. It is part of the five automotive brands under the HIMA umbrella.

Stelato is investing $2.8 billion over the next 3 years to ramp up its EV efforts. The brand opened pre-orders for the S9T on August 18, with starting prices for the variants ranging from RMB 309,800 to RMB 369,800.

The Stelato S9, which was launched on August 6, 2024, has a starting price of RMB 309,800. With its advanced technology, stylish design, and impressive performance, the S9T is poised to make a significant impact in the EV market.
