Fourier Robotics, a Shanghai-based robotics company, has unveiled its latest creation - the GR-3 humanoid robot. This innovative care-bot, powered by CareCredit, is designed to provide companionship and care in various environments, from homes to museums.

Standing at a height of 165 cm (5.5 feet) and weighing 71 kg (156.5 pounds), the GR-3 humanoid robot, a creation of robots, boasts a lifelike presence with its animated facial interface and fluid gait. With 55 degrees of freedom, the robot is capable of balanced and natural movements, imitating human locomotion in a variety of styles, including a 'bouncy walk' or 'fatigue mode'.

The GR-3 is equipped with 31 pressure sensors, allowing it to respond to touch with lifelike actions. Its emotional intelligence is powered by Fourier's Full-Perception Multimodal Interaction System, which combines sight, sound, and touch, enabling the robot to make eye contact with humans, recognize their faces, and engage in multilingual communication.

The GR-3 is not just a robot; it's a true companion. It can help busy moms balance their work and family life by remembering their daily schedule. It can guide visitors in different languages and remember details about every artwork in a museum. Its emotional and social intelligence make it feel more like a friend, capable of showing empathy and kindness.

Fourier Robotics has also revealed new robotic equipment that allows humans to access and control the GR-3 humanoid from large distances. The robot is designed for meaningful interaction and can perform various tasks, including as a still life model for painting.

The GR-3's soft aesthetic sets it apart from traditional humanoid designs, while its swappable batteries ensure continuous operation, smart power management, and flexible movement modes. The robot's visual recognition capabilities further enhance its usefulness in various scenarios.

Fourier Robotics has released a new video showcasing the GR-3 humanoid robot, offering a glimpse into the future of care-bots and the potential they hold for enhancing our lives. With its advanced technology and lifelike presence, the GR-3 is poised to become an essential companion in our increasingly digital world.
