Lori Trahan and Kathy Castor writing a letter to Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri in May 2024, urging him to abandon the location-sharing feature.
Instagram has implemented privacy measures such as parental controls that notify parents when their child shares their location. However, privacy concerns persist, particularly given Meta’s history.
