Intel affirms continued presence of Arc GPUs in the face of new Nvidia partnership

This will be followed by at least two new generations of processors containing Arc Xe3 iGPUs: Panther Lake and Nova Lake. Some speculation suggests that Nvidia GPUs might entirely replace Intel's own GPUs in future products, though this remains very speculative. Developments of Intel's Druid architecture are not explicitly stated to be discontinued but will coexist with the Nvidia collaboration as part of future product offerings, leading to a shift in Intel's production planning towards increased use of Nvidia GPUs integrated via chiplets in their PC and data center CPUs.

The collaboration will involve combining Intel Foveros (3D packaging) tech with TSMC-made Nvidia chiplets.
While the company is currently on the Arc Battlemage generation (B-series), Celestial looks to be just around the corner. The fate of the Druid architecture is currently unknown, but Arc should be around for a while longer in some guise.
