New Releases from Union Glashütte: The Belisar Chronograph Moonphase
Union Glashütte has expanded its collection with two new variants of the Belisar Chronograph Moonphase, introduced in 2025. These stylish timepieces offer a blend of sporty elegance and intricate detailing.
The Belisar Chronograph Moonphase boasts a case diameter of 42 millimeters and a height of 14.8 millimeters, making it a comfortable fit for most wrists. Both versions come with a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal protecting the dial.
The bi-color version of the Belisar Chronograph Moonphase showcases massive rose gold sides and a bezel made of the same precious metal. This luxurious variant sets off a golden celestial motif against the dark blue background of the dial, with the Moonphase display at six o'clock. The classic stainless steel variant, on the other hand, emphasizes a more sporty-elegant design. Both models feature applied indices, rose gold hands, and harmoniously integrated displays for the day of the week, month, and date.
The bi-color variant with rose gold elements is priced at 7,500 euros, while the classic stainless steel version is available for 3,600 euros.
The caliber UNG-25.S1, used in the Belisar Chronograph Moonphase, is based on the Valjoux 7751 but has been significantly modernized. This includes the addition of a silicon spiral for resistance to magnetic fields, and the non-regulating system in the caliber UNG-25.S1 is regulated via mass screws or weights on the balance. The caliber is assembled and regulated in Glashütte.
The optimized mainspring in the caliber UNG-25.S1 ensures a power reserve of up to 65 hours. Each Belisar Chronograph Moonphase model features a deep blue dial with a fine sunburst finish.
Both versions of the Belisar Chronograph Moonphase are water-resistant to 10 bar (100 meters), making them suitable for everyday wear. They come with a handcrafted, blue leather strap with crocodile embossing.
Meanwhile, Jacob & Co. and Bugatti have collaborated on a new Tourbillon, with two new hypersport cars for the wrist. However, no prior context is provided for this collaboration.
