In the world of drum and bass, Jam Thieves is making waves with his distinctive hip-hop tinged blend of rollers, minimal, and neuro. The Brazilian artist, known for his massive quality of masters and serious songs with a focus on kick, snare, and bass, has just released his debut solo album, "Blue House".

The album's title refers to a place where Pablo Escobar hid from the police, adding an intriguing layer to the music. The tracks on the album are inspired by movies and documentaries about Africa and Pablo Escobar, giving a unique twist to the usual drum and bass themes.

"Blue House" consists of 10 tracks, including "Blue House", "Orange Dog", and "Red Mamba". Some track names, such as "Medellin", "Scarface", and "Big Poppa", reference the criminal underworld, adding to the album's intriguing narrative.

Jam Thieves has released tracks on various labels including Playaz, Hospital, Onyx, Symmetry, Serial Killaz, and Invicta. He is currently working on a USB Bootlegs project for Serial Killaz, featuring versions of tracks by Post Malone, Lady Gaga, and others.

The artist is also working with Vegas from Bad Company for a release on Bad Taste. Jam Thieves' upcoming UK tour includes shows in Bristol, Brighton, and London, with the artist promising an unforgettable drum and bass experience.

The choice of Dispatch Recordings as the label for "Blue House" can be inferred from Jam Thieves' history of releasing tracks on the label, showcasing his minimal roots and signature sound. However, the exact reasons for choosing Dispatch Recordings remain unexplained in the available sources.

Jam Thieves began as a duo but became a solo project in 2020. The name Jam Thieves came about in 2007, with 'Jam' referring to a musical jam session and 'Thieves' referring to the artist's history and reality. Going solo allowed Jam Thieves to release on labels like Hospital, RAM, and Souped Up!

The UK is considered the best place in the world for a drum and bass DJ, while drum and bass shows are scarce in Brazil. Despite this, Jam Thieves continues to make a name for himself in the global drum and bass scene.
