Worldline Appoints Bernhard Lachenmeier as Managing Director and Head of Merchant Services Switzerland
Worldline, a global provider of payment solutions, has announced the appointment of Bernhard Lachenmeier as the Managing Director and Head of Merchant Services Switzerland. Effective from October 1, Lachenmeier will oversee the strategic development of Worldline's merchant services activities in Switzerland.
Lachenmeier brings over 20 years of management experience in the financial and payments sector to his new role. Prior to joining Worldline, he held senior positions at SIX Payment Services and CCV Switzerland. Most recently, he served as Head of Shopping & Merchant Solutions at PostFinance.
In his new position, Lachenmeier will have overall responsibility for the Swiss business at Worldline. The appointment is strategically significant for Worldline in Switzerland, as it aims to strengthen customer and partner engagement and advance digital payments innovation.
