Kia revamps Stonic SUV with enhanced aesthetics according to its brand identity
New Balance Kia Stonic (2026) to Debut in Europe with Modernized Design and Advanced Features
The much-anticipated New Balance Kia Stonic (2026) is set to make its European news debut early next year, boasting a fresh look, modernized interior, and advanced technology.
Priced slightly above €22,700, the compact SUV will retain its five-seater configuration while offering a choice between two gasoline engines: one with 74 kW / 100 PS and another with 85 kW / 115 PS. Both engines can be paired with either a manual six-speed transmission or a dual-clutch automatic.
The Stonic's design aligns more closely with Kia's current design language "Opposites United," featuring new light graphics, gray plastic elements, 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels, and new colors "Adventure Green" and "Yacht Blue." The vehicle will measure 4.17 meters in length, an increase of three centimeters compared to its previous version.
Inside, the Stonic boasts a significantly modernized interior, with a new multifunction steering wheel, gearshift, and revised center console. The vehicle also features a full digital cockpit with two 12.3-inch displays. The infotainment system supports current connectivity functions and offers smartphone charging via a charging tray or USB cable.
Safety features include navigation-based adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. The Stonic will also offer a full suite of driving assistants to ensure a smooth and secure ride.
The development and design of the revised Kia Stonic were led by Karim Habib and Gregory Guillaume. The vehicle is expected to hit the European market at the beginning of 2026. With its modern design, advanced features, and competitive pricing, the Kia Stonic (2026) is poised to make a strong impact in the compact SUV market.
