The Public Authority for Manpower recently held a coordination meeting to review Phase One of the Needs Assessment System on the 'Ashel' platform. The meeting, attended by officials from the Needs Assessment Department and representatives of the Information Systems Center, was a continuation of the implementation of the previously launched Needs Assessment System.

Eng. Rabab Al-Osaimi, the Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Manpower, emphasised the importance of ensuring smooth implementation of the system. She stated that the Needs Assessment System on the 'Ashel' platform is being developed to meet the demands of technological and scientific advancements, and is being improved to ensure greater efficiency and objectivity in meeting labor market requirements.

The system allows employers to submit needs assessment requests electronically, and the Needs Assessment Department processes these applications. The Information Systems Center staff presented a visual explanation of the system's workflow and reviewed updates to the needs assessment request service.

The Needs Assessment System on the 'Ashel' platform determines the number of workers required in a precise manner, and the Inspection Department completes procedures for applications submitted through the system. Having employee salaries on file is a prerequisite for applying for the service in the Needs Assessment System.

Future projects aim to develop needs assessment mechanisms in line with technological and scientific advancements. The meeting discussed these future projects, and the goals of these projects include greater efficiency and objectivity in meeting labor market requirements.

However, it is not explicitly mentioned in the available search results who the head of the inspection department will be who will process future demand regulation applications.

The statement was reported by Al Rai newspaper. The Needs Assessment System on the 'Ashel' platform is undergoing continuous updates and developments, with the aim of making it an efficient tool for companies to complete related transactions.
