Cablecast and Stage Precision Shine at NAB Show 2023
The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas is buzzing with innovation, and two standout exhibitors are Cablecast Community Media and Stage Precision.
Cablecast Community Media
At the Renaissance Hotel Las Vegas, Suite 839, Cablecast is demonstrating new features for its Cablecast Internet Channels. The company is making a concerted effort to expand video accessibility, conforming to the updated Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
The updated Director Mini, on display, includes impressive new features such as instant replay, support for live HTML graphics platforms, network bonding, and more. The CV612, another offering, boasts format resolutions from 1920x1080 down to 640x480, making it suitable for production and live streaming.
The CV612 also features a flexible networkable IP interface with simultaneous 3GSDI, HDMI, and USB 3.0 Type C outputs. The PTZ camera offers a pan rotation of 170 degrees, tilt rotation of -90-+90 degrees, and variable pan and tilt speeds. It also comes equipped with AI facial learning for automatic tracking, a 12X optical and 15X digital zoom, and a professional-grade 2-Megapixel sensor.
New features of the Director Mini allow for dual-channel instant replay, user-specified web pages as graphic overlays, and saved highlight recordings. The CV612's control interface includes RS232, Visca/Pelco protocols, LAN control, and a handheld IR remote control.
Cablecast's new Multiple Audio Programs (MAP) functionality supports Secondary Audio Program (SAP) and allows PEG channels to broadcast multiple audio pairs. Additionally, the VOD search capabilities have been improved, allowing for search of VOD titles, chapters, and transcripts.
Stage Precision
Making its debut as an exhibitor at Booth C7750, Stage Precision is showcasing its software solutions. The company will run live events at the booth, including 'A Look Inside Stage Precision's Software Suite' and 'Super Bowl 2024: Elevating the AR Experience with Stage Precision'.
Stage Precision's software solutions have been used in high-stakes events such as the 2024 Super Bowl, NBA All-Stars, and esports championships like Riot Games and Gamers 8. The company's offerings at NAB Show 2023 include the capability of multi-tracking system integration within SP.
Other Innovations
Magewell is showcasing new features for its Director Mini all-in-one production and streaming system at Booth C6816. Meanwhile, NPAW is launching its second-generation AI companion, NaLa 2.0, at Booth W1421. NaLa 2.0 can analyze large amounts of data, pinpoint issues, and provide quick, accurate answers in almost every language. Its versatility has expanded, supporting more methods for uncovering insights.
Unfortunately, the new innovation from NPAW (Nice People At Work) that should be highlighted at the Las Vegas fair is not mentioned in the provided search results. Stay tuned for more updates from NAB Show 2023!
