Uber Catering to Senior Riders As Well
Uber, Lyft's competitor, also caters to older riders with features designed with them in mind. A senior account comes with a "simple mode" on the Uber app, which includes larger text, icons, fewer ride options, prominent saved locations, and a streamlined booking process. The simple mode is automatically enabled for senior accounts, but can be disabled under Account > Settings > Accessibility > Simple mode.
A family organizer can set up senior accounts, and health benefits cards can be added for eligible rides, like transportation to and from medical appointments.
