Mahindra Unveils 2025 Thar Facelift With New Features and Powertrain Options
Mahindra has revealed the 2025 Thar facelift, boasting new features and powertrain options. The LXT variant, priced between Rs 12.19 lakh and Rs 16.99 lakh, comes packed with modern comforts and safety measures.
The new Thar LXT includes cruise control, electrically adjustable mirrors, a dead pedal, rear camera, TPMS, and a rear wiper-washer. It continues with three engine options: a 1.5-litre diesel producing 116 bhp and 300 Nm of torque, a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol with 150 bhp and 300-320 Nm of torque, and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel reserved for 4x4 versions with 130 bhp and 300 Nm of torque.
Mahindra offers a choice between RWD and 4WD systems, with prices ranging from Rs 12.19 lakh for the LXT RWD MT variant to Rs 16.99 lakh for the LXT 4WD AT variant. The entry-level AXT variant starts at Rs 9.99 lakh, featuring halogen headlights, LED tail lamps, 16-inch steel wheels, and vinyl seats. It comes with standard safety features including dual airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, roll-over mitigation, and ABS with EBD.
The 2025 Mahindra Thar facelift offers a range of powertrain options, modern features, and safety measures. With prices ranging from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 16.99 lakh, it caters to various customer preferences, from entry-level to high-end variants.
