Major Drug Bust: 3 Arrested, Millions in Drugs Seized
A major international drug bust has resulted in the arrest of three suspects. The operation, involving authorities from Germany and the Netherlands, has led to the seizure of a substantial amount of drugs and cash. The suspects, aged 33, 39, and 40, are accused of selling narcotics on the darknet and distributing them via the German postal system using post boxes in the border area. The drugs found include large quantities of MDMA, ecstasy, and cocaine, with an estimated total sales value of several million euros. Additionally, a firearm and cash totaling in the five-digit range were seized during the searches. Two of the three suspects had international arrest warrants in place, with one already handed over to German authorities and the other still in custody in the Netherlands. The investigation is ongoing, with the Aachen Criminal Police focusing on evaluating data carriers and electronic devices to strengthen the case against the suspects. The successful operation is a result of close cooperation between German and Dutch authorities. The responsibility for continuing the investigations lies with the public prosecutor's office in Aachen, working in tandem with the police. The seizure of such a large quantity of drugs and the arrest of the suspects is a significant blow to organized illegal drug trafficking in the region.
