Missouri Lottery Continues Partnership with Brightstar for Another 8 Years
The Missouri Lottery is set to modernise its operations with the integration of Brightstar's OMNIA solution, a comprehensive, integrated lottery platform. The unveiling of the approved companies for Missouri Sports Betting is scheduled for August 15, but in the meantime, the lottery is preparing for a significant transformation.
Brightstar, a global leader in lottery technology, has entered into an eight-year partnership with the Missouri Lottery, marking a continuation of a long-standing relationship that has seen the Missouri Lottery generate over $8.5 billion for public education over the past three decades, thanks to Brightstar's world-class technology.
The OMNIA solution aims to modernise the Missouri Lottery's infrastructure, providing a more flexible and efficient operational system. It seamlessly connects retail and digital experiences, simplifying operations and enhancing player engagement.
In terms of retail enhancements, Brightstar will supply advanced equipment, including 5,250 Retailer Pro S2s, 2,220 GameTouch™ 28s, 75 GameTouch™ 20s, 250 GameTouch™ Draws, 1,250 Digital Menu Boards, and an enhanced communications network.
The digital program will be enhanced with features like Connected Play, second-chance promotions, and a new loyalty program.
Scott Gunn, COO of North America lottery at Brightstar, expressed his honour in having the Missouri Lottery's trust. Lester Elder, executive director of the Missouri Lottery, is excited about the extended agreement with Brightstar.
Brightstar, the main tech supplier to more than half of the lottery jurisdictions in the US, currently has partnerships with 90 lottery clients across six continents. The company is looking forward to continuing to support the Missouri Lottery and help it maximise funds for education.
Meanwhile, Missouri Sports Betting is taking steps toward launch with the closure of license applications, and a public hearing to review feedback and address concerns is set for July 17. The Missouri Lottery's modernisation with Brightstar's OMNIA solution is poised to provide an engaging and efficient experience for players while contributing significantly to public education funds.
