Neumaier Unveils 'Factory E-Truck' for Automated Outdoor Pallet Transport
Neumaier Industry GmbH & Co. KG has unveiled its latest innovation, the 'Factory E-Truck', designed for fully automated pallet transport in varying outdoor research conditions. This comes after the company's successful deployment of outdoor Forklift Trucks (FTS) at B. Braun Melsungen AG, a medical technology company on the Swabian Alb.
The 'Factory E-Truck' efficiently handles the entire process, from picking up Euro pallets and other load carriers to transporting and precisely setting them down. It operates using a combination of geo-navigation via contour recognition and GNSS-based satellite navigation, ensuring continuous position determination.
Neumaier's patented safety laserscanners function effectively in harsh weather conditions, such as rain, snow, fog, or strong light. These scanners generate warning and protection fields, enabling early detection of people or obstacles. The forklift independently recognizes charging needs and drives to the charging station for inductive energy intake.
Neumaier's portfolio is diverse, offering autonomous tugger trains, forklifts, high-low lift trucks, under-ride FTF, and fully automated narrow-aisle solutions. The company has proven its outdoor FTS capabilities, with a notable success at B. Braun Melsungen AG. Customers can experience these systems in real operation at Neumaier's own demonstration center.
The 'Factory E-Truck' from Neumaier Industry GmbH & Co. KG is set to revolutionize outdoor pallet transport, offering fully automated, safe, and efficient solutions under varying weather and lighting conditions. Following successful outdoor FTS implementations, such as at B. Braun Melsungen AG, the company continues to expand its autonomous driverless transport system portfolio.
