New arrivals in India's market by Sennheiser: AMBEO Soundbar Plus and AMBEO Sub from the AMBEO lineup
Sennheiser introduced two new audio devices, the AMBEO Soundbar Plus and the AMBEO Sub, to its existing AMBEO lineup in the Indian market. The Soundbar Plus is the world's first 7.1.4 standalone speaker, according to Sennheiser, while the AMBEO Sub offers deep and intense bass due to its 8-inch proprietary woofer and 350-watt Class-D amplifier.
The AMBEO Soundbar Plus provides a spacious 3D sound experience, developed in collaboration with the reputable Fraunhofer-Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS). AMBEO Self-Calibration technology arranges seven virtual speakers strategically around the listener, eliminating the need for satellite speakers or extra cables.
Key features of the Soundbar Plus include Dolby ATMOS, DTS:X, 360 Reality Audio, and MPEG-H Audio. Moreover, it is compatible with streaming services like Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and TIDAL Connect, along with voice assistants such as Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri.
Moving on to the AMBEO Sub, it is powered by AMBEO virtualization technology and provides a powerful bass response. The subwoofer also offers advanced self-calibration and a Smart Control App for easy setup and control.
Both devices are now available in India through Sennheiser's official webshop, Amazon.in, and other leading electronic outlets. The AMBEO Soundbar Plus retails for ₹1,39,990, while the AMBEO Sub is priced at ₹69,990.
Enrichment Data indicates that the AMBEO Soundbar Plus has received widespread acclaim for its immersive 3D sound experience, especially its ability to convincingly simulate a true surround sound environment without additional speakers. Its Dolby Atmos and DTS:X capabilities deliver mesmerizing and turbo-charged 3D audio, achieving a level of immersion usually only possible with multi-speaker setups. The device's unique room calibration microphone and connectivity options further contribute to its popularity among home theater enthusiasts. The main possible drawback mentioned is the use of LED lights for settings. However, this does not significantly detract from the audio performance, which is consistently regarded as top-tier for a single-chassis soundbar.
The AMBEO Soundbar Plus, a collaboration with the Fraunhofer-Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS), is not only a smart-home-device but also a gadget that offers a 3D sound experience with Dolby ATMOS, DTS:X, and MPEG-H Audio under the umbrella of its advanced technology. The AMBEO Sub, powered by AMBEO virtualization technology, is another gadget that boasts advanced self-calibration and is compatible with voice assistants, further blurring the lines between entertainment and smart-home technology.
