Nigerian startup Thrivyx has been accepted into the FasterCapital LaunchUp accelerator program.

In an exciting development, Thrivyx, a Nigerian API-first SaaS cybersecurity startup, has joined FasterCapital's LaunchUp programme. This collaboration aims to tackle cybersecurity challenges in emerging markets, focusing on growth in Africa, Europe, and Asia.

Founded in 2021, Thrivyx targets the underserved segment of mid-sized businesses in these regions. Recognising the critical need for streamlined security solutions, Thrivyx offers a unified, scalable platform that simplifies security monitoring, productivity analytics, and data management.

The global cybersecurity and productivity SaaS market exceeds $180 billion annually, and Thrivyx's platform fills a crucial gap by addressing the cybersecurity needs of mid-sized businesses in these markets. The platform provides real-time monitoring, control, and cybersecurity in a unified solution, addressing the escalating cyber threats and the growing complexity of enterprise IT environments.

Thrivyx's platform integrates with legacy field equipment and offers modern features like remote access, AI-powered anomaly detection, and digital twin visualization. This makes it an ideal solution for sectors like energy, utilities, manufacturing, and smart cities.

By joining FasterCapital's LaunchUp programme, Thrivyx aims to leverage the global network, capital resources, and industry expertise provided by the programme. FasterCapital, a global venture builder and online incubator, has a LaunchUp programme designed to help early-stage startups like Thrivyx.

This partnership is not Thrivyx's first step towards expansion. The company also delivers integrated security, productivity, and file-sharing solutions, catering to sectors like fintech, healthtech, and logistics, where mid-sized companies often struggle with fragmented, costly, and difficult-to-integrate security tools.

In addition, Kenya's Vumah Labs, a deep-tech innovation lab specialising in privacy-first AI, blockchain, and Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) technologies, has also recently joined FasterCapital's LaunchUp programme. This further underscores FasterCapital's commitment to fostering innovation and growth in the tech sector.

Thrivyx is not just building a cybersecurity solution; it is constructing a secure, cloud-native SCADA platform for industrial and critical infrastructure systems. By joining the LaunchUp programme, Thrivyx is poised to accelerate its growth across the targeted regions, addressing the operational risks and compliance challenges that mid-sized businesses face in these markets.
