I've stumbled upon a predicament where I'm clueless about the topic at hand and must decipher the words using hints solely. It's not the most thrilling adventure, but we've got to make do.

Mastering the Game

Strands is an intriguing variation of the classic word search offered by The New York Times. It's currently in the beta phase, so its longevity relies on daily participation. Each day offers a new six by eight grid filled with letters. Your objective is to discover words that share a common thread, with a hint to guide you. If you uncover a theme word, it will be highlighted in blue.

Your mission doesn't end there: find the spangram, which will connect the opposing sides of the board, enlightening you on the shared theme. Interestingly, the theme words do not need to be proper names. However, the spangram can be. Once you've located the spangram, it will glow in yellow.

Just a heads up: the game designer has a talent for subtly flinging curveballs your way. Be prepared for twisty turns in the game!
