OpenAI Unveils Powerful Comment Moderation System
OpenAI has introduced a robust comment moderation system with three primary controls: 'Check' for approval, 'X' for rejection, and 'Heart' for featuring. This toolset empowers moderators to manage comments efficiently on the Comments Dashboard.
The 'Check' control approves comments, making them visible to the entire community. Conversely, the 'X' control rejects or bans comments, hiding them from the rest of the users but not the original commenter. For exceptional comments, moderators can use the 'Heart' control to feature them, pushing them to the top of the commenting list in the post they were written on.
Moderators can engage with comments directly using the 'Reply' button, located in the Actions column on the Comments Dashboard page. For streamlined management, the dashboard offers filtering by author and status. Status filters include Pending Review, Featured, Approved, and Declined. Additionally, bulk actions allow moderators to check, reject, or feature multiple comments simultaneously. The dashboard's sorting functionality, accessed via the gear button, enables moderators to organize comments by minimum and maximum word count.
