The "State for People" project, a federal initiative aimed at simplifying the process of obtaining government services, is set to expand its digital services across various regions of Russia. The project's aim is to increase opportunities for citizens and businesses to access government services digitally, providing more convenience and reducing the need for physical visits to government agencies.

The expansion of the project is not limited to the Sverdlovsk region and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, where notable examples of the project's implementation have already been seen. In the Sverdlovsk region, for instance, a service helps obtain a full package of documents for home-based social care under this project. Similarly, the "Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District Longevity" program allows elderly citizens to register for free classes on various topics, including Nordic walking and computer literacy, through the project's portal.

By the end of 2024, the project plans to add 245 regional services to its portal, marking a significant expansion of its digital services. This expansion is expected to further reduce the need for physical visits to government agencies, as the project combines all necessary procedures for solving specific tasks for both citizens and businesses in a digital format.

The implementation of the "State for People" project has already led to impressive results. It has resulted in a 42% reduction in service delivery times and a 40% reduction in the number of required documents. Moreover, the project has seen a 67% decrease in visits to government agencies, demonstrating its effectiveness in streamlining service delivery.

The expansion of the project is part of a continued effort to digitalize state management in Russia, reflecting a global trend towards digital services in government. As more services become available online, citizens and businesses can expect increased convenience, efficiency, and accessibility in their interactions with government agencies.

  1. The expansion of the digital services offered by the "State for People" project will also include services related to finance, as the platform plans to add 245 regional services by the end of 2024, facilitating digital transactions for both citizens and businesses.
  2. As part of the project's aim to increase opportunities for digital access, business owners in the regions where the "State for People" project expands may soon be able to handle their financial affairs more efficiently, thanks to the integration of digital services into the project's portal.
