Peter Grøftehauge Takes Full Control of Autorola, Plans Global Expansion

Peter Grøftehauge has taken full control of Autorola, acquiring the remaining stake from his brother Martin as of 1 December. Despite the change in ownership, daily operations will continue as usual across the global vehicle remarketing LLC and its subsidiaries.

Autorola, founded in 1996 by the Grøftehauge brothers and their father, has since expanded internationally. It now operates in 20 countries across five continents, employing over 750 people. Peter Grøftehauge, the long-time CEO and President, has been instrumental in the company's commercial success and market positioning.

Under Peter's full ownership, Autorola will continue its innovative streak. In 2024, it plans to roll out Indicata Forecasting across Europe and Brazil, and explore new markets in the Middle East. The company aims to grow its workforce to 1,000 employees worldwide by 2028 through strategic growth initiatives.

With Peter Grøftehauge's induction into the Fleet Europe Remarketing Hall of Fame, his leadership has been recognised for driving Autorola's success. Despite the recent acquisition, Autorola's operations remain unaffected, and the company continues to look towards a future of growth and innovation.
