Plastic Energy's Innovative Products Tacfiller and Char Revolutionize Waste Management

Plastic Energy has revolutionised the plastic waste management industry with its innovative products, Tacfiller and Char. These groundbreaking solutions significantly reduce carbon emissions and offer a sustainable alternative to conventional carbon black.

Plastic Energy's flagship product, Tacfiller, is produced from post-consumer plastic waste. It boasts an impressive 89% lower emissions compared to traditional carbon black. This remarkable feat is achieved through the company's patented chemical recycling process, TACTM, which transforms hard-to-recycle plastic waste into recycled feedstock, TACOILTM.

The company has also commercialised 'Char', a byproduct of its chemical recycling process. Char offers a lower-carbon, circular alternative to carbon black in packaging materials. It produces 89% less carbon emissions than its fossil fuel counterpart. Unlike carbon black, Char does not interfere with sorting during recycling processes, making it a more eco-friendly option.

Plastic Energy's Tacfiller is not only the first REACH-registered product of its kind but also a significant contributor to reducing global CO2 emissions. By replacing carbon black in rubber manufacturing, it can potentially save 29-79 million metric tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. With Char, Plastic Energy continues to push the boundaries of sustainability, offering a cleaner, more efficient alternative to conventional carbon black in packaging materials.
