Polestar Unveils Digital Rearview Mirror in Precept Concept Car
Polestar, the Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer, has unveiled an innovative digital rearview mirror in its concept car, the Polestar Precept. This new feature allows drivers to switch between an HD screen and a traditional rearview mirror, enhancing visibility and safety.
The digital rearview mirror, developed by an unspecified company, uses a 2.5-megapixel camera with a 121° field of view to project real-time images onto an 8.9-inch HD screen. This technology improves driver visibility, particularly in low light or rainy conditions. The mirror can be switched back to a traditional rearview mirror using a simple button press.
