Mark your calendars for the first total lunar eclipse of 2024. From North and South America, the full moon will exhibit a reddish hue for 65 minutes, starting at 2:26 to 3:31 a.m. EDT. This eclipse will be followed by the closest Super New Moon on Mar. 29, 2025.
April 2025: Full Pink Blossom Moon
When: Saturday, Apr. 12, 2025.
May 2025: Full Flowering Moon

June 2025: Full Strawberry Ripening Moon

Get ready for the second total lunar eclipse of 2024. The full moon will turn reddish across Asia and Australia for 82 minutes, from 1:30 to 2:52 a.m. EDT. Unlike usual, the Harvest Moon title is handed over to October's full moon in 2025.
October 2025: Full Super Turnip Harvest Moon
When: Saturday, Oct. 10, 2025.
The first supermoon of 2024 takes on the Harvest Moon moniker instead of the usual Hunter's Moon due to its proximity to September's equinox on Sept. 22, 2025.
November 2025: Full Super Wild Beaver Moon
When: Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2025.
Second up, the second supermoon of 2024, which will be the closest full moon to Earth since 2019.
December 2025: Full Super Brisk Cold Moon
When: Thursday, Dec. 2, 2025.
Last but not least, the third supermoon of 2024 (plus another one in January 2026).

The January 2025 full moon is also known as the 'Full Ice Wolf Moon', but it will be surpassed by the 'next supermoon' in March 2025, which will exhibit a close approach to Earth and a potential increased size in appearance. The 'total lunar eclipse' in March 2025 will follow this supermoon, turning the full moon into a 'blood moon eclipse'. The 'harvest moon' title, usually given to the full moon in September, will be handed over to October 2025 this year, making it a 'Full Super Turnip Harvest Moon'. The 'next blood moon' is expected in 2025, during the second total lunar eclipse. The 2025 full moon calendar includes several supermoons, with the 'Second supermoon of 2024' occurring in November, and the 'third supermoon of 2024 (plus another one in January 2026)' in December.
