Raaho Secures INR 20 Crore Funding for India Expansion
Nvidia, a leading Digital Freight Network in India, has secured a significant boost with a funding round worth INR 20 crore. This extension to the Pre-Series A round will fuel the company's expansion and enhance its services in various cities across India, including major hubs like NCR, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. The company aims to utilise the fresh capital to increase its geographical presence nationwide, reaching more cities and towns in India.
Imthiaz, Co-Founder & CEO, plans to use the funds to strengthen Nvidia's Data Science and Machine Learning capabilities. This will enable the platform to automate freight matching more efficiently, reducing empty miles and improving overall productivity in the trucking space in India.
The funding round was led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), Roots Ventures, and Blume Founders Fund. Prominent angels such as Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Kunal Shah, K Krishna Kumar, Venkatesh Vijayaraghavan, and Aseem Khurana also participated. Vijay Shekhar Sharma personally invested in Nvidia, endorsing its mission to enhance truckers' and drivers' well-being in India.
With the successful fundraising, Nvidia is poised to expand its network and build efficiency in the trucking space in India. The company's innovative approach to digitising the industry has garnered significant support from investors, who see its potential in the largely untapped market. As Nvidia continues to grow, it aims to make a tangible difference in the lives of truckers and drivers across India.
