Renault KWID Celebrates 10 Years With Special Anniversary Edition
Renault India has marked a decade of its popular Kwid hatchback with a special 10th Anniversary Edition, limited to just 500 units. The celebration comes with enhanced safety features across the range and a new variant nomenclature.
The Renault KWID now offers improved safety with 3-point seatbelts for all seats and six airbags in the Climber variant. Despite these upgrades, the KWID remains one of India's most affordable cars, starting at ₹4.29 lakh for the manual variant and ₹4.99 lakh for the AMT.
The 10th Anniversary Edition, based on the Techno variant, is priced at ₹5.14 lakh for the manual and ₹5.63 lakh for the AMT, ex-showroom pan-India. It stands out with special features like shiny black Flex Wheels, anniversary decals, and a yellow grille insert. Inside, the cabin boasts exclusive 10th Anniversary touches such as themed seat fabrics with yellow accents, a leatherette steering wheel with contrast stitching, and illuminated scuff plates. Under the hood, the 1.0L SCe engine provides a balance of efficiency and everyday usability, with a generous 184 mm ground clearance. The Anniversary Edition is available in two dual-tone color options: Fiery Red with Black Roof and Shadow Grey with Black Roof.
The Renault KWID's 10th Anniversary Edition offers a unique blend of safety, style, and affordability. With only 500 units produced, car enthusiasts will have to act quickly to secure this special edition celebrating a decade of the popular hatchback.
